Title: Studio Ops Director (Agency/Studio Background MUST)

Location: Remote/ work from home

Experience: 10+ years studio operations, delivery management experience within a creative, advertising, or design agency

\We are seeking an experienced and people-first Studio Director to lead the delivery and production function of a fast-paced creative studio. The ideal candidate comes with a solid background in studio operations, delivery management, and project governance within a creative, design, or advertising agency setup.

You will manage a team of Project Managers, Design Leads, and a Studio Manager, ensuring smooth delivery across digital, print, and motion assets. This role is central to workflow optimization, team performance, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery function, ensuring timely execution and quality output across all creative deliverables.

- Oversee daily studio operations and ensure optimal use of resources through effective planning and prioritization.

- Mentor and guide the project management and creative teams, fostering accountability, performance, and morale.

- Ensure strong collaboration between project, creative, and account teams through structured communication.

- Optimize project and resource workflows using tools such as Workfront, Jira, Asana, or similar.

- Serve as the go-to escalation point for delivery issues, solving challenges proactively and diplomatically.

- Monitor and report on studio KPIs, resource utilization, budgets, and timelines.

- Champion continuous improvement in systems, tools, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in studio operations, delivery, or traffic management.

- Proven track record of managing large creative teams and studio operations in digital/print/motion environments.

- Deep understanding of creative production workflows, agency delivery models, and operational scalability.

- Strong knowledge of project/resource management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, Trello, etc.).

- Excellent communication and leadership skills - capable of leading under pressure with empathy and clarity.

- Experience working in high-volume, deadline-driven creative environments.
