Job Description
- Field technical questions and provides technical advice to current and prospective customers, both internal and external, regarding ASAP software products.
- Ability to master comprehensive technical software ASAP.
- Understand competitive analysis as it relates to BRO s software.
- Maintain and contribute to Application Notes, software demos and other literature for customers and sales leads.
- Represent Lanika Solutions at technical trade shows, answering questions and providing information regarding software products. May prepare and present software/hardware demonstrations for trade shows as well. Travel out-of-state and/or out-of-country will be required.
- Assist in developing and customizing written text for technical documentation for ASAP software products including on-line help, reference manuals, technical guides, application notes, procedure notes, and miscellaneous support documentation.
- Develop a working knowledge of in-house customer inquiry logging software to be used to document technical support calls.
- Assist in teaching ASAP tutorials at Lanika Solutions or at customer sites.
- Provide technical support on potential software sales.
- May be required to publish present articles for optical engineering conferences and journals.
- Prepare technical written descriptions of software products.
- Participate in the planning and development of new products.
- Provide technical support on consulting contracts.
- Liaison and manage the engineering services projects
