Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS | Azure | GCP)

Responsibilities :

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Oversee and manage existing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Cloud Solution Architecture : Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions that align with client business requirements, technical specifications, and industry best practices.

- Security Implementation : Implement and maintain robust security measures and compliance standards within cloud environments, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Technical Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert in AWS, Azure, and GCP, providing technical guidance and support to development teams and stakeholders.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services in a timely and effective manner.

- Containerization Technologies : Design and implement solutions utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop and implement automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.

- Collaboration and Communication : Effectively communicate technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations.

- Continuous Learning : Stay abreast of the latest advancements and emerging trends in cloud computing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Proficiency : Demonstrated deep proficiency and hands-on experience with at least two of the following cloud platforms : Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience : Proven experience (5-15 years) in cloud technology roles, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure management and solution architecture.

- Cloud Architecture Principles : Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

- Cloud Security : Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and compliance frameworks.

- Performance Optimization : Proven ability to analyze cloud performance metrics, identify areas for optimization, and implement effective solutions.

- Troubleshooting Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.

- Communication and Teamwork : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

- Containerization : Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Automation and IaC : Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).

- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Architect) are a strong plus.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Familiarity with database services in the cloud (e.g., RDS, Cosmos DB, Cloud SQL).

- Exposure to serverless computing (e.g., Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions).
