Senior Backend Developer - Python/Golang (4-6 yrs)

A leading new-age bank in India offers a comprehensive range of financial solutions, including various types of accounts, loans, payment solutions, and wealth management services, with nationwide branches, ATMs, and extensive digital banking options.

In partnership with Magna Hire, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.

You will work closely with various teams, including data scientists, engineers, and front-end developers, to ensure smooth integration, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain efficient backend systems using Python, and Golang.

- Collaborate with teams like Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Front-End Developers to ensure smooth model development and productization.

- Optimize backend systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Lead code reviews and adhere to best practices in Python, Node.js, and Golang development.

- Ensure backend security and compliance with PII standards.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in B2C industries.

- Extensive knowledge of Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and Golang is necessary, along with experience in async programming and JavaScript frameworks like Node.js, ES6+, and TypeScript.

- The ideal candidate should have some exposure to or hands-on experience with Generative AI.

- Experience in API-based application development, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.

- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.

- Experience in designing and developing complex, large-scale applications with hybrid deployments.

- Proven experience in Agile methodologies and enterprise software lifecycle management.
