Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record in the retail/fmcg market to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company.

This regional management position oversees above 10 sales depots that employ just over 50 people. Your job would be to visit each sales depots on a regular rotation and manage the overall sales goals, accomplishments and strategies. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing the operation of a sales depots (or number of sales depots) while taking accountability for reaching targets.

Responsibilities

1. Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives

2. Support depot Managers with day-to-day store operation

3. Evaluate depot and individual performances

4. Report on regional sales results

5. Forecast quarterly and annual profits

6. Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople

7. Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility

8. Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth

9. Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions

10. Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition

11. Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
