Role Overview :

Were seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team and spearhead our technology function. The ideal candidate is a hands-on tech leader with deep expertise in React Native and Node.js, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and user-centric mobile and web applications. You will be responsible for defining and executing the companys technology vision, leading our engineering team, and ensuring the success of product development efforts. This role combines strategic thinking with technical leadership, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Leadership :

- Define, lead, and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Design and oversee scalable architecture across mobile and web platforms.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, DevOps, and security.

Hands-on Development :

- Actively contribute to the tech stack using React Native (for mobile) and Node.js (for backend).

- Provide architectural guidance and code reviews for the development team.

- Ensure systems are performant, scalable, and maintainable.

Team Management :

- Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class tech team.

- Build a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams.

Infrastructure & Operations :

- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), deployment pipelines, and uptime.

- Implement and monitor DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response.

- Ensure data privacy, compliance, and system security.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering.

- Proven experience building and scaling production-grade applications.

- Strong command of React Native (iOS/Android) and Node.js.

- Experience with REST APIs, MongoDB, Express.js, and microservices.

- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing tech teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
