Position Title: Senior/Group/Account Director

Nature of work: Leadership role in Market Research

Job Location: Delhi

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role demands high-level strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex business challenges, contributing to the advancement of market research in the organization. The role demands,

• Set the strategic direction for market research within the organization, aligning with overall business objectives. Represent the organization as a thought leader in market research at industry events, conferences, and publications.
• Demonstrate success in building and managing strong client relationships, exceeding expectations, and gaining repeat business. Actively involved in the growth of accounts and seeking prospective clients.

Conceptualize and Design Studies:

• Conceptualize and design complex research studies, addressing complex research questions and incorporating innovative methodologies.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across departments (sales and marketing) to translate business needs into actionable research plans.
• Manage and optimize research budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency.

Project Planning, Execution, and Management:

• Lead the development and application of advanced data analysis techniques, leveraging multiple techniques, tools, and frameworks.
• Guide team on advanced statistical techniques (regression analysis, factor analysis, conjoint analysis, etc.).
• Develop compelling and impactful presentations and reports, tailored to diverse audiences and effectively communicating research findings.

Mentoring and coaching junior researchers:

• Lead internal workshops and training sessions to disseminate research findings, promote best practices, and build research literacy within the organization.
• Build and manage high-performing research teams, fostering mentorship, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

Prerequisites

• Masters degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 13-18 years of experience in primary market research, including different methodologies, data analysis, and reporting actionable insights
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SPSS
• (Required) Experience with standard quantitative studies, including CSAT, NPS, Brand Tracks, Concept testing, etc.
• (Preferred) Experience designing studies with advanced techniques e.g. conjoint analysis, Max-Diff, etc.
• Team management and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, facilitation, and rapport building.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding PowerPoint reporting and storyboarding skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
