- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic US Billing Senior Manager to lead our Order-to-Cash (O2C) US billing operations from our India office.

-This is a critical leadership role requiring extensive experience in independently managing large-scale billing processes within the US market, particularly in the recruitment/staffing sector.

About the Role:

- The US Billing Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our US billing operations.

- This role demands a seasoned professional capable of strategic planning, team leadership, and independent execution, ensuring seamless and compliant billing processes without reliance on a US-based team.

- The successful candidate will drive efficiency, implement best practices, and contribute significantly to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategically plan, manage, and optimize the entire US billing function from the India office.

- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all US billing activities, including complex invoicing, adjustments, and reconciliations.

- Develop and implement robust billing policies, procedures, and internal controls.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership in sales, operations, finance, and legal to streamline O2C processes and resolve complex billing issues.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in billing processes through automation, technology adoption, and best practice implementation.

- Manage client billing escalations and maintain strong client relationships.

- Oversee the reconciliation of billing data with financial records and participate in month-end and year-end close processes.

- Provide insightful analysis and reporting on billing metrics, trends, and forecasts to senior management.

- Ensure adherence to all US billing regulations, compliance requirements, and audit standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 10-13 years of progressive experience in US billing, with a substantial portion in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.

- Extensive experience in recruitment/staffing industry billing is mandatory.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and lead end-to-end US billing operations without requiring support from a US team.

- Deep expertise in US billing practices, sales tax, use tax, and other relevant compliance regulations.

- Proven track record of process improvement and implementing efficient billing solutions.

- Proficiency in advanced billing software, ERP systems (e. , SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and financial management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with global billing operations and multi-currency transactions.

- Certifications in accounting or finance (e. , CPA, CMA)
