Head - Solar Modules & Cell Manufacturing (18-25 yrs)

Job Title: Manufacturing Head - Solar Modules & Cell Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Head to lead our Solar Module & Cell Manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate must bring deep domain expertise, having risen through the ranks from maintenance and process engineering to leading full-fledged manufacturing units.

Prior exposure to Mondragon Automation & Technology will be a strong advantage or any other fully automated module manufacturing lines in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for solar panel and solar cell production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

- Plan, implement, and oversee production schedules, equipment maintenance, and engineering improvements.

- Drive continuous process improvement, lean manufacturing, and automation initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and industry regulations.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across production, process, engineering, quality, and maintenance functions.

- Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, and project teams for seamless product development and rollouts.

- Prepare and manage manufacturing budgets, capital expenditures, and capacity planning.

- Oversee plant layout design, technology upgrades, and operational excellence initiatives.

- Optimize plant operations using OEE, TPM, Six Sigma, and other best practices.

- Drive digitalization and adoption of Industry 4.0 practices.

- Thorough knowledge of all supply chain and specifications of all raw materials for BOM.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 17-25 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, specifically in solar panel and solar cell production.

- Must have grown from maintenance or process engineering background to leadership roles.

- Proven experience in managing large teams and cross-functional departments.

- Familiarity with Mondragon Technology - handling automation lines and technical systems will be a strong plus mainly for fully automated lines.

- Deep understanding of PV module production technologies, equipment, and standards.

- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

- Exposure to global quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean) is essential.

- Proactive approach for all forthcoming advancements in technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).

- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or related methodologies.

- Hands-on exposure to smart factory tools, MES, ERP systems, and automation platforms.
