Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the solar business growth strategy across utility-scale, rooftop, and/or distributed solar segments.
- Evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and policy implications.
- Tie-up with Chinese collaborators
- Lead innovation in business models, financing options, and technology adoption.
Business Development:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new customers and contracts.
- Build strong relationships with industrial, commercial, and government clients.
- Lead bidding for solar tenders and manage partnerships with EPCs, financiers, and OEMs.
Project & Operations Management:
- Oversee end-to-end project execution: design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and time targets.
- Monitor site operations and resolve escalations.
Financial & Commercial:
- Take full P&L ownership for the solar vertical.
- Budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and financial risk management.
- Drive cost optimization and cash flow efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Build and manage high-performing cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, operations).
- Define KPIs and monitor team performance.
- Foster a performance-driven and sustainable work culture.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Track solar policies, subsidies, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities other stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, statutory, and safety norms.
EXPERIENCE IN SOLAR CELL MANUFACTURING PLANT SET-UP is MANDATORY
