About the Role:
We are seeking a sharp, high-caliber professional to join the CEO Office of a leading pharmaceutical company. This strategic role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems, has a strong understanding of business strategy, and wants to work at the intersection of corporate strategy, M&A, and global market development.
The role offers significant exposure to C-suite leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and direct involvement in strategic decision-making that shapes the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Strategy & Business Growth
- Analyze business performance across global markets and verticals.
- Drive strategic planning initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
- Identify new growth opportunities both organic and inorganic.
- Create actionable business models, strategy decks, and roadmaps.
2. Strategic Projects & Execution
- Lead and manage end-to-end strategic initiatives across business units.
- Follow through on the implementation of strategic plans with cross-functional teams.
- Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to measure the impact of strategies.
3. M&A, In-licensing & Out-licensing
- Support the evaluation of acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market and financial due diligence for M&A deals.
- Partner with global business development teams for in-licensing and out-licensing transactions.
4. CXO & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate directly with the CEO, CXOs, and BU Heads.
- Synthesize strategic insights into high-impact presentations and reports.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, etc.)
Background in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Consulting is a plus.
Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in: Corporate Strategy/Management Consulting/Investment Banking/Business Development / M&A (preferably in healthcare/life sciences)
