Job Description

Develop and implement Supply Chain Planning and Logistics processes and systems for necessary controls and reporting of results, variances and recommendations to the leadership team
Drive the ABC category segmentation and plan for network expansion, when needed basis the current data and future requirements
Prepare overall budget for the supply chain operations through reviews of individual sub-function budgets Planning and warehouse logistics
Monitor adherence to supply chain budgets; Take necessary corrective actions as required to ensure compliance to the approved budgets
Drive cost efficiencies in the supply chain operations through implementation of best in class practices in the function that drive cost optimization in functional operations
Review and oversee policies and procedures for material management to support smooth flow of materials in Wavin efficient dealing with external/internal agencies for material receipt, storage and supply
Lead SOP meetings with cross functional teams to address challenges and drive timely decision making to minimize supply side disruptions demand side inconsistency as much as possible
Ensure seamless functioning between Sales and Operations functions through the function, and creates value by optimizing production and mix plan
Provide guidance to team for demand and supply planning processes in coordination with other functions servicing market demand effectively while ensuring optimum inventory levels, distribution costs as well as capacity utilization
Ensure vendor performances (transportation vendors) are in line with standards defined as per SLAs; take necessary actions in case of deviations
Track key metrics such as On time in full, Lost Sales from Short Supply, Forecast Accuracy, Logistics/ Warehouse cost etc.
Review inventory levels (material / non-material / spares) across units and plan to take corrective steps in cases of deviations from the plan
Ensure adherence to safety, health and environment norms to reduce accidents and incidents in plants
Drive performance orientation through regular monitoring, review of performance parameters and providing feedback
Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles; Drive overall employee engagement and motivation.
