Senior PCB Desginer - SMPS Circuits (4-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop schematics and multi-layer PCBs using KiCAD.

- Perform RF layout design and antenna tuning for wireless applications.

- Design and validate SMPS circuits (buck, boost, and flyback topologies).

- Develop evaluation and demo boards using WEGO modules or equivalent.

- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Perform design reviews, DFM/DFT analysis, and BOM optimization.

- Conduct hardware testing and validation using tools such as CROs, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.

- Maintain design documentation, including schematics, layout files, test procedures, and validation reports.

- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in prototypes and production units.

Required Qualifications :

- 4-5 years of professional experience in schematic capture and PCB layout.

- Expert-level proficiency in KiCAD.

- Hands-on experience with RF circuit design and antenna tuning.

- Sound knowledge of SMPS topologies and practical implementation.

- Familiarity with test equipment such as CROs (oscilloscopes), multimeters, and other lab tools.

- Experience in building and testing evaluation/demo boards, preferably with WEGO platforms.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with EMC/EMI compliance and mitigation techniques.

- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems.

- Familiarity with industry standards for PCB layout and signal integrity.
