Job Description

  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a talented developer with expertise in React.js and Electron.js to build high-performance cross-platform desktop applications
  • You will be responsible for designing front-end components using React and integrating them into Electron-based desktop apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using Electron.js and React.js.
  • Build reusable React components and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure application responsiveness, performance, and stability across platforms.
  • Integrate APIs and manage state using tools like Redux, MobX, or React Context.
  • Implement native OS functionalities using Electrons main and renderer process.
  • Handle file system interactions, background processes, and secure packaging for desktop deployment.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver polished UI/UX.
  • Debug and fix cross-platform issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML/CSS.
  • In-depth experience with Electron.js and building desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with Node.js backend within the Electron architecture.
  • Knowledge of Electrons main/renderer processes, IPC, native modules, and packaging (e.g., Experience with Redux, Webpack, Babel, and modern JavaScript tooling.
  • Understanding of OS-level APIs (file system, notifications, clipboard, etc.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Familiarity with native modules or integrating C++/Rust libraries in Electron.
  • CI/CD tools for Electron (auto-update, build pipelines).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in Electron apps.
  • Experience with testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library, Spectron).
  • Education
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
