Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in quality engineering and automation. This full-time role reports to the QA Manager and is available in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and QA engineers to understand features and technical implementations.
• CI/CD Contribution: Enhance the CI/CD pipeline with robust test coverage and automation.
• Code Reviews: Conduct reviews of test code and provide constructive feedback.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs to ensure high product quality.
• Agile Participation: Engage in agile ceremonies and drive quality engineering efforts throughout the sprint cycle.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in software testing and automation.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Java.
• UI Automation: Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• API Testing: Expertise in RestAssured, Postman, and JSON/XML handling.
• Database Testing: Proficient in SQL queries and data validation from relational/NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Good-to-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in Git and version control strategies.
