Senior .Net Core Developer - Microservices Architecture (5-15 yrs)

Job Summary :

The Senior .NET Core Azure Functions Developer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable cloud-native applications. This role requires deep expertise in .NET Core, Azure cloud services, and a solid understanding of microservices, real-time data processing, and robust database management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a commitment to best practices and collaborative development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core applications and Azure Functions to support high-performance systems.

- Develop and deploy robust RESTful APIs and Microservices using C# and .NET Core.

- Integrate cloud-native features for real-time data processing, leveraging IoT protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, RabbitMQ, and Azure IoT Hub.

- Ensure database reliability, including performance tuning, replication strategies, and robust backup solutions for SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and DynamoDB.

- Implement software development best practices, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, SOLID principles, and various architectural design patterns.

- Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for effective containerization and orchestration of applications in multi-cloud environments.

- Work in a cross-functional team environment to analyze business requirements, provide accurate effort estimations, and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

- Actively contribute to technical documentation, participate in peer code reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Technical Skill Set Required :

Mandatory :

- .NET Core / C# : Expert-level proficiency.

- Azure Cloud Services : Strong experience with Azure Functions and Azure App Services.

- API Development : Proven experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.

- Database Technologies : Proficiency with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB,

DynamoDB).

- Messaging/IoT Protocols : Experience with RabbitMQ, MQTT, and IoT Device Hub (e.g., Azure

IoT Hub).

- Containerization & Orchestration : Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Version Control & CI/CD : Proficient in Git and experienced with CI/CD pipelines using Azure

DevOps.

- Software Design Principles : Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and scalable design patterns.

Preferred/Nice to Have :

- AWS Cloud Services : Familiarity with AWS Lambda and AWS CodePipeline.

- NoSQL Databases : Experience with CouchDB.

- Performance Optimization : Experience in performance profiling and application tuning.

- Azure Ecosystem : Familiarity with API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience :

- 5 - 8 years of professional experience in backend development with the .NET stack.

- At least 2 years of dedicated experience in developing and deploying solutions on Azure cloud platforms.
