Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Trade Promotion & Consumer Activation

  • Execute regional trade promotion schemes in coordination with the Trade Marketing Manager
  • Ensure timely sharing of insights from consumer-facing activities.
  • Initiate consumer and trade campaigns across various channels.
  • Ensure consistency in execution and adoption of activation initiatives across assigned geographies.

2. Point-of-Sale Execution & Visibility

  • Deploy brand visibility at the point of sale (POS) including product displays, in-shop and out-shop signage, and dealer boards.
  • Manage design, production, and placement of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM).
  • Lead in-shop branding execution across relevant retail touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify POSM needs and manage implementation either via internal teams or external vendors.

3. BTL & Merchandising Strategy

  • Plan and activate all BTL activities including visibility drives, rural activations, samplings, loyalty programs, and QPS.
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies across channels (GT, MT, etc.).
  • Execute key outlet activations in top towns to strengthen retail presence.

4. New Product Development (NPD) & Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution

  • Coordinate with suppliers on new product launches and key packaging/artwork projects.
  • Ensure effective GTM strategy and flawless execution of NPD initiatives.
  • Manage supplier documentation and Terms of Trade (ToT) related to launches and initiatives.

5. Campaign & Vendor Management

  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution including planning, logistics, budgeting, and evaluation.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality delivery at each stage of campaign execution.
  • Support internal stakeholders with alignment, approvals, and delivery schedules.

6. Commercial Operations & Cost Management

  • Manage cost sheets covering trade pricing and promotion calculations.
  • Initiate and support backend operations such as secondary billing, understanding of ECO/Bills/Lines/Business Estimates (BE).
  • Handle Adpro management for assigned product categories or groups.

7. Distribution & RTM Design

  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution across targeted outlets.
  • Act as a catalyst in the design and execution of Route-to-Market (RTM) models to expand reach and improve efficiency.

8. Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor and report competitor marketing and trade activities.

Provide actionable insights and feedback to local and regional leadership to inform strategy.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA with a minimum of 3+ yrs experience in FMCG Trade Marketing (preferably Foods)

🔹 Exposure to regional promotions, NPD launches & ROI tracking
