PDI Technologies - Software Engineer - III - .Net Technologies (6-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development with a focus on .NET technologies, and a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This role requires a mix of technical leadership, collaboration, and hands-on coding.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain new and existing software applications using .NET and related technologies.

- Lead and mentor a small team of developers; provide technical guidance and code reviews.

- Participate actively in Agile development processes including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA, and UX/UI teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Translate complex business and technical requirements into functional software.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments.

- Maintain code quality and ensure best practices, coding standards, and security protocols are followed.

- Use Azure DevOps or Jira for version control, work tracking, and continuous integration/deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 610 years of hands-on software development experience in a product-based environment.

- Proficient in :

a. .NET, C#

b. SQL

c. ASP.NET MVC

d. HTML, CSS, JavaScript

e. Modern JS frameworks (e.g., Angular)

- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.

- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies (minimum 2 years of experience).

- Prior experience (1+ years) serving as a technical team lead is a plus.

- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the retail or payment solutions industry.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud deployment strategies.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development.
