Special Educator - The Gurukulam School

The Gurukulam School, Varanasi, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs through structured interventions, remedial strategies, and inclusive classroom practices. The role involves closely collaborating with teachers, parents, and counselors to ensure each child receives the right academic and developmental support.

Job Location: Varanasi

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify students with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or special educational needs.
• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students specific requirements.
• Provide remedial education and one-on-one support as per the childs needs.
• Modify teaching materials and methods to ensure inclusive learning.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and counselors.
• Collaborate on interventions for children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.
• Maintain records of student progress and update IEPs periodically.
• Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for staff on inclusive education practices.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of learning disabilities and special needs education
• Expertise in remedial teaching methods
• Knowledge of child psychology and behavioral strategies
• Ability to work patiently and empathetically with children
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Qualifications:

• B.Ed. in Special Education / Diploma in Special Education
• Additional certifications in Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, or related areas (preferred)
