Role:


- The Senior Manager Costing will support the costing and financial analysis functions, assisting in the accurate allocation of costs, variance analysis, and financial reporting. This role will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide insightful data and

assist in driving cost control measures.


- The Senior Associate will be responsible for executing key cost-related tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall budgeting and forecasting processes.


Your key responsibilities include:


Cost Analysis:


- Analysing business activity costs, including raw materials, inventory, and labour, to identify waste, inform pricing strategies, and improve growth projections.


Budgeting and forecasting and actuals:


- Developing and analysing cost standards, preparing budget forecasts, and monitoring expenses to ensure cost-saving measures are implemented.


Cost Control and Reduction:


- Identifying inefficiencies, unusually high operating costs, and production performance lapses, and recommending changes to processes and policies to reduce costs.


Financial Reporting:


- Preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports, generating reports for senior management, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information.


Collaboration:


- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and providing financial and accounting support to executives and department heads.


Process Improvement:


- Continuously monitoring and improving accounting processes and systems to streamline and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.


Additional Skills and Knowledge:


- Strong understanding of accounting principles.


- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Excellent communication and presentation skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Key Skills & Qualifications:


- Education: Qualified CA/CMA.


- Experience: 15+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial planning, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or service-based industries.


- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MS Excel, and basic financial modelling tools.


Soft Skills:


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


- Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and cost accounting principles, with an understanding of financial reporting requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience in a shared service or BPO environment.


- Exposure to key financial processes such as P2P, R2R, and O2C.


Additional Requirements:


- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
