Role:
As a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), you shall be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organisation, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organisational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
Responsibilities:
Your Major Job responsibilities, but not limited to, shall be as under:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategy aligning with the overall business goals, ensuring HR practices support the company's direction.
- Shape company culture by fostering a positive and productive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- Advice senior leadership by providing expert guidance on HR matters to the President and other executives.
Talent Management:
- Recruitment and on boarding: Overseeing the process of attracting, hiring, and integrating new employees.
- Talent development and training: Ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and grow within the company.
- Succession planning: Developing a pipeline of future leaders to ensure smooth transitions.
Employee Relations and Wellbeing:
- Compensation and benefits: Designing and managing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Performance management: Setting clear performance expectations, conducting reviews, and helping employees achieve their goals.
- Employee relations: Addressing employee concerns, maintaining a positive work environment, and fostering open communication.
Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure legal compliance: Keeping the company on the right side of employment laws and regulations.
- Manage HR operations: Overseeing payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functions.
- HR technology: Staying up-to-date with HR technology and implementing tools to streamline processes.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Promoting a workplace that's inclusive and fair for all employees.
- Change management: Leading the organization through periods of change and transformation.
- Employer branding: Building a strong employer brand to attract top talent.
