Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP FI & SAP SPL Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) processes as well as experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) specifically in Sanctions Party List (SPL) screening. This role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting finance operations and compliance-related screening within SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Configure and support SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Banking.
- Ensure accurate financial postings and support month-end/year-end close activities.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and translate financial requirements into system configurations .
- Implement and manage SAP SPL screening processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Monitor and resolve SPL screening issues such as blocked business partners or transactions.
- Integrate SAP SPL with logistics and finance processes where required (e.g., sales order processing).
- Work with SAP GTS or standalone SPL modules to manage updates to sanction lists.
- Provide support for incident resolution and enhancements in both FI and SPL areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, GTS, Compliance) for integrated process alignment.
- Create documentation for system configurations, testing scenarios, and end-user training.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP FI configuration and support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SPL / GTS SPL module.
- Solid understanding of financial processes and compliance regulations related to global trade.
- Familiarity with SPL master data screening, transactional screening, and hit resolution processes .
- Experience with integration points between FI and other SAP modules (MM, SD, GTS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SAP Certification in FI or GTS (preferred but not mandatory).
