Manager/Senior Manager - Fund Accounting - Private Equity - CA (5-12 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are looking for dynamic professionals with 5-10 years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting to join our growing Fund Services team.

- The selected candidates will be responsible for managing accounting, reporting, investor services, and regulatory compliance for global private equity funds. This is an opportunity to work with leading global clients and play a key role in managing complex fund structures, financial reporting, and investor communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee the NAV calculation, capital call and distribution processing, and quarter-end/year-end close activities.

- Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements under US GAAP / IFRS / IN GAAP.

- Perform and review capital account statements, waterfall calculations, and management/incentive fee calculations.

- Manage accounting for complex structures such as master-feeder funds, fund of funds, co-investment vehicles, and SPVs.

Client & Investor Services:

- Act as the main point of contact for client queries, investor reporting, and audit coordination.

- Manage investor capital activity, prepare investor reports, and ensure timely delivery of capital notices and statements.

- Review and approve subscription/redemption documents and assist in KYC/AML processes in coordination with investor relations teams.

Team Leadership & Process Management

- Lead and mentor junior fund accountants and review deliverables.

- Collaborate with global teams to standardize and streamline accounting and reporting processes.

- Identify automation opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives.

- Ensure SLA, KPI, and compliance metrics are achieved with high quality.

Key Skills & Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- CA / CPA / CFA / MBA Finance strongly preferred.

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in private equity fund accounting, preferably in a Big 4 firm, fund administrator, or asset management firm.

- Solid understanding of private equity structures, waterfall modeling, IRR, preferred returns, and carried interest.
