Publicis Sapient - Java Developer - Spring Frameworks (1-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Java Developer to join our development team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a good understanding of object-oriented programming, and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving and quality product development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications using best practices and modern development tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, and QA Engineers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards.

- Debug and resolve technical issues and provide solutions to improve application performance.

- Participate in code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services and systems.

- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proficient in Java SE/EE development.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).

- Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.

- Experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Microservices architecture.

- Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
