Manager - Accounting (3-5 yrs)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will lead the accounting team, manage month-end and year-end close processes, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and local regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.

- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.

- Analyze financial data and provide reports to senior management for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

- Lead, mentor, and train accounting staff to enhance team performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and operational needs.

- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- CPA or CMA certification preferred.

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally).

- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
