Senior Enterprise Test Engineer System/Performance Testing (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise-level applications, with a focus on backend services and APIs.

- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, backend developers, database administrators, and other team members to understand system requirements and ensure end-to-end quality.

- Develop and consume APIs and web services to validate system functionality and integration points.

- Implement unit, integration, system, regression, and performance tests to ensure code quality, application reliability, and system scalability.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, working closely with development teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on testability, quality, and adherence to best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing, quality assurance, and the enterprise application landscape.

- Contribute to technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results reports.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7-10 years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role, with a focus on enterprise-level applications.

- Strong understanding of the Java programming language.

- Experience with testing backend applications and APIs, particularly those built with Spring Boot.

- Proficiency in developing and consuming APIs and web services (RESTful, SOAP).

- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Spring Security.

- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular, React).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.

- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium).

- ISTQB certification
