Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Key account manager to join our fast-growing insurtech startup.
As a KAM, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships while driving new business acquisition.
Your role will involve identifying and targeting potential opportunities, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a strong business acumen, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for driving growth in the insurtech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key client relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and underwriting, to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of solutions to clients.
- Contract negotiation and pricing: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science.
- Proven track record, 3 years plus of experience in key account management and new business acquisition, preferably within the SAAS or insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and customer acquisition strategies preferred.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales tools to manage effectively and track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and propose innovative solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for working in a startup environment and contributing to the growth and success of the company.
