JD for National Sales Head - Large Kitchen Appliances
Leadership expectations:
To lead and drive the sales & distribution strategy and execution for the Large Kitchen Appliances (chimneys , hobs , built-ins ) and Cooktops business across geographies, ensuring revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of the LKA category, consumer behaviour, channel dynamics, brand stores and the ability to build & lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies for the LKA business.
- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets by Cluster, regions and channels.
- Monitor and forecast sales performance, taking corrective actions when needed.
- Formulate and implement distribution strategy for LKA & Cooktop categories
- Oversee pan - India distributor channel set up
- Implement distribution ROI framework.
2. Channel Management
- Drive sales through EBO, RR, DD and distributors.
- Expand channel footprint across geographies in alignment with the market potential.
- Build and manage strong relationships with the distributors, dealers, and key accounts.
- Maintain credit hygiene and cash cycle
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Cluster sales teams.
- Define clear KRAs, regularly review performance, and ensure capability development.
- Foster a culture of ownership, performance, and customer-centricity.
4 Market Development & Penetration
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
- Drive initiatives for market share expansion and product visibility in high-growth regions.
- Lead and drive EBOs/distributors
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Public
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Product teams to align business objectives.
- Provide market feedback for new product development and enhancements.
6. Business Analytics & MIS
- Analyze sales trends, customer insights, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Generate timely reports and dashboards to enable decision-making and performance tracking.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the premium spaces, kitchen category and channel ecosystems.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical thinking and proficiency in sales forecasting and planning.
- Ability to manage P&L and deliver against aggressive growth targets.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualification - MBA in Marketing from a good institute.
- 15-18 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in consumer durable category.
- Strong understanding of distribution , MBO/EBO and RR channels
- Proven track record of delivering strong sales growth and building winning teams.
