Stamping Simulation Engineer

Join our dynamic team and be a part of cutting-edge developments in automotive manufacturing! We're looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in simulation, CAD modelling, and manufacturing feasibility studies to support new product development and press tool validation.

Role & responsibilities

• Simulate stamping parts & press tools as per CAD data using Auto Form
• Perform surfacing and modelling in CATIA V5
• Conduct manufacturing feasibility checks using simulation software
• Provide feedback in coordination with R&D and technical development teams
• Review and manage design changes with stakeholders including R&D, tool makers, and suppliers
• Validate press tool data surface quality, spring back, thinning, and measurements
• Prepare method plans with the tool maker & press planning team
• Develop control plans for consistent stamping processes
• Understand press tools, dies, and method planning in depth
