Automation QA

• Test Automation: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
• Test Planning: Collaborating with QA and development teams to create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Test Execution: Executing automated test scripts and analyzing test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues
• Regression Testing: Conducting regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
• Integration Testing: Verifying the integration of different software components and systems through automated testing
• API and Web Services Testing: Automating tests for APIs, web services, and other backend components
• UI and Functional Testing: Automating tests for user interfaces (UI) to ensure proper functionality and user experience
• Load and Performance Testing: Automating load, stress, and performance tests to assess application scalability and responsiveness
• Data Validation: Developing automated tests to validate data integrity and accuracy within the application
• Test Framework Development: Designing and building custom test frameworks or extending existing frameworks to enhance testing capabilities
• Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous validation of code changes
• Defect Management: Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and results
• Collaboration: Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation (eg, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
• Automation Tools: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (eg, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit) and version control systems (eg, Git)
• API Testing: Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques (eg, Postman, REST Assured)
• Web Technologies: Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser debugging tools
• Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with software testing methodologies (eg, Agile, Scrum) and best practices
• Continuous Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, Travis CI) and test automation integration
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex software behaviors, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions
