Job Title: Senior Marketing & Communication Specialist DK Global Capability Center (GCC).
Location: Bangalore.
Experience: 6+ years in Marketing, Communications / Public Relations.
About the Role:.
As the Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing DigiKeys brand presence in India by assisting the team in creating and supporting marketing materials that assist with talent attraction and retention, team engagement, internal and external communications, and social media strategy for Digikey GCC.
You will work closely with DigiKeys Global Marketing team to ensure brand alignment, messaging consistency, and adherence to corporate standards.
Your role will involve designing and writing compelling content, managing internal and external communication channels, supporting leadership with key marketing and communications updates, and driving engagement with the DigiKey brand through strategic marketing initiatives.
You will play a key role in amplifying DigiKey GCCs achievements, helping to strengthen the companys overall brand presence in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Presence & Awareness
- Collaborate with leadership to position the GCC as a center of excellence.
- Develop and implement branding strategies to enhance DigiKey GCCs visibility in India.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with DigiKeys global marketing and branding standards.
Talent Attraction & Employee Engagement
- Employer Branding: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to create campaigns that showcase DigiKey GCC as an employer of choice.
- Recruitment Marketing: Support hiring efforts through targeted content and digital outreach.
- Internal Marketing and Communications: Work with the Internal Communications team to develop and align content for internal marketing that builds team collaboration and employee engagement.
- Examples of this include newsletters, leadership messages, and team communication updates.
- Event Management: Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and leadership communications.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Own and execute DigiKey GCCs LinkedIn Marketing Strategy.
- Work with the social media marketing team to ensure alignment with overall social media strategy and content calendar.
- Engage with external and internal audiences to enhance the companys reputation.
Public Relations & External Communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with media, industry analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Work with the Public Relations team to draft press releases, executive thought leadership pieces, and company announcements.
- Identify opportunities for awards, partnerships, and speaking engagements for leadership.
Leadership Support & Internal Collaboration
- Provide strategic updates on marketing progress and KPIs to the leadership team.
- Prepare reports and insights on marketing performance and impact.
- Collaborate with DigiKeys Global Marketing Team for guidance and adherence to brand standards.
Qualifications & Skills:.
Education:
- Bachelors or masters degree in marketing, Communications, PR, or Business.
Experience (based on level TBD)
- Senior Marketing Specialist Level: 6+ years in marketing, branding, or communications, preferably in a GCC or multinational environment.
Core Skills Required:
- Marketing & Communications Strategy: Strong experience in internal and external communications.
- Content Development: Ability to craft engaging marketing content, press releases, and leadership messaging.
- Social media & Digital Marketing: Experience in managing LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other digital platforms.
- Experience in using various social management tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.

- Public Relations: Proven ability to manage media interactions, corporate messaging, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially HR and global marketing teams.
- Should be able to work with other senior leaders in the organization.
- Influence: Willing to challenge status quo and make recommendations to drive optimal outcomes and take ownership of the same.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills: Ability to measure marketing impact and optimize strategies accordingly.
Preferred skills: (Not Mandatory):
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and digital analytics platforms.
- Basic understanding of visual design to work effectively with creative teams.
