About the Role :

M2P Fintech is looking for a Lead SDET specializing in automation testing, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with our development and testing teams to automate testing processes and streamline quality assurance. Your expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies will be key in achieving our goal of delivering robust and flawless software solutions to our clients without compromising on the deadlines.

What Will You Do in this Role :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications, mobile applications, and backend services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Implement and enhance test frameworks and tools to meet evolving project needs.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

- Your experience in both manual and automation testing will be at play.

- The ratio of manual testing will be higher initially, however the ultimate goal is to automate most of the testing, so that ratio will change as the project progresses, to more automate d testing and less manual testing.

- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings.

- Lead and mentor the team ensuring they met their KRAs.

What Youll Need to be Successful in this Role

- B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.

- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a must.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, etc.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

- Experience with API testing and proficiency in using tools like Postman or similar.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.

- Agile/scrum experience is a plus.

- High level of energy and proactive nature.

- A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines is essential.
