Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Migration Test Engineer to support our migration initiatives from SAS to Viya and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test plans with a strong emphasis on data validation, automation, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement unit, system, and integration tests for SAS migration projects.
  
• Validate data transformation and integrity during migration to SAS Viya and Snowflake.
  
• Automate testing workflows using test automation tools.
  
• Ensure compliance with code quality and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and report defects with clarity and traceability.
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAS programming and SQL
  
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, etc.)
  
• Solid understanding of data validation and ETL testing
  

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Talend, IBM Data Replicator, or Qlik Replicate
  
• Exposure to Snowflake, SAS Viya, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, and automated code quality checks
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  
• Prior experience in data migration or modernization projects
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
