Position Summary

- Assist with database development efforts, including database design, coding, and documentation.

- Writing and modifying medium to complex stored procedures and Triggers

- Develop complex reports using SSRS

- SQL programming and general database administration.

- Usage of databases available on the cloud is preferred but not mandatory.

- Analyses, troubleshoots, and debugs the stored procedures from performance tuning perspective.

- Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and well developed time management skills.

Technical Expertise

- Strong skills in database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server) including database development (T-SQL).

- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).

- Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts.

Principal Accountabilities :

- Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design.

- Sound knowledge of Scrum methodology of agile software development and its application.

- Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects.

- Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.

- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.

- Provides general support on information technology to design, develop, execute, and maintain the database

- Test databases and perform bug fixes.

- Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.

Supervisory and Reporting Responsibility :

- The position will report into the Lead Database Developer

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in any discipline or related

- We welcome freshers with excellent communication and explanation skills

- Knowledge of Travel business will get a preference.
