Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET + React Developer to join our team for a high-impact engagement with our client, National Grid. This is a remote position aligned to the UK time zone. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in .NET (Core/Framework) and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications using .NET Core and React.js.
Design RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver quality solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices and coding standards.
Identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure the application runs efficiently.
Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills:

8+ years of total IT experience with strong exposure to both frontend and backend technologies.
Expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework , C#, and Entity Framework.
Strong proficiency in React.js , Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.
Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
