Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for ETL pipelines and data validation.
- Perform SQL-based data validation to ensure data integrity, consistency, and correctness preferably RDS.
- Work closely with data engineers to test and validate Data and frontend implementations.
- Automate data quality tests using Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use GitHub for version control, managing test scripts, and collaborating on automation frameworks.
- Debug and troubleshoot data-related issues across different environments.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and improve testing strategies for big data solutions.
- Create and update Automation scripts for Frontend and API testing using frameworks like Selenium, Pytest, and others.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on data testing, ETL testing, and data validation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, transformation testing, and debugging.
- Good working knowledge of Python, Node.js,Angular and GitHub for test automation and version control.
- Experience with ETL , Frontend testing and Data solutions.
- Understanding data pipelines, Blue framework and data governance concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
