Job Brief:
A Social media manager is continuously generating content for all our clients, creating new ideas and campaigns, and measuring how effective those ideas are. They work with other teams in the company to coordinate their campaigns with other initiatives within a company work to fit in to the overall marketing and promotional goals of the organization. A good social media manager always looks for the latest trends online, making sure that they are keeping up with public shifts in media attention
Responsibilities:
- Experience of developing strategies across social media and digital marketing areas
- Experience in outreach, sales, grassroots, social media, digital PR, buzz building and building sustainable communities.
- You have to be a social media power user and have a proven background building a quality online following for a business.
- Experience using social media analytics tools and the ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings.
- Ability to lead a team of social media strategists effectively.
- Ability to create cutting-edge social media and digital marketing content.
- Writing, blogging and proofreading ability
- Experience with social advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
- Experience of managing website content
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills a must.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Capacity to prioritize and work on multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and resourceful with a can-do attitude
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Social Media Marketing experience.
- Experience developing social media strategies.
- Experience working with and developing a marketing pitches for new client acquisition.
- Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
- Proven ability to build social media communities.
- Understanding of graphic design principles.
- Ability to measure the success of campaigns.
