Associate Manager - Operational Excellence

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an equipment readiness calendar aligned with development project milestones and ensure availability of equipment.
• Monitor and report on equipment utilization, downtime trends, and upcoming qualification/maintenance requirements through dashboards and trackers.
• Lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM frameworks to foster continuous improvement across the business unit.
• Champion TPM adoption to improve equipment availability, reduce breakdowns, and extend asset lifespan.
• Establish performance baselines and monitor progress through defined metrics.
• Drive key maintenance-related KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, uptime, and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Conduct thorough root cause analyses (RCA) for recurring issues, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and Optimize vendor maintenance contracts to ensure high service levels, enforce performance KPIs, and drive accountability.

Preferred candidate profile

• 69 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in Operational Excellence roles within manufacturing industries.
• Background in Automotive, FMCG, or other high-performance production environments preferred.
• Proven track record in implementing Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven, problem-solving approach.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
