QA Automation Engineer - Appium/Selenium (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web (React/Next.js ), mobile (Flutter), and backend (NestJS) applications.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Perform performance, load, and stress testing to validate system reliability and scalability. Stay updated on QA automation tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve testing efficiency.

- Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting a culture of quality and collaboration. Contribute to manual testing efforts when necessary to ensure product quality.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation testing.

- Strong proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Experience testing web applications (React/Next.js ), mobile apps (iOS/Android), and APIs (REST/GraphQL).

- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving defects.

- BS in Computer Science or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS for testing cloud-based applications.

- Knowledge of containerized testing environments using Docker or Kubernetes.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
