Educational QualificationB.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Automotive / Design)
Technical Skills -Hands on Experience in Designing & Detailing of BIW spot welding/MIG welding fixtures (automated and manual)
Tool Skills:-CATIA V5-UG NX Special Requirements:-
Design experience in BIW spot welding/MIG welding fixtures-Good knowledge of manufacturing an d assembly process-
Experience in working on various OEMs like GM, VW, BMW, FORD, DAIMLER etc. & TR1 like Kuka, Comau etc-Experi ence in conducting Technical Review with customer
Exposure to multiple CAD tools will be an added advantage-Experience in Teamce nter will be added advantageSoft SkillsGood Verbal and Written Communication Skills.Good presentation skill
Experience:Min3Max 6Relevant Experience (Min)3 Years
BIW Fixture design
-Concept Design (Design clamps, pin units stationary as well as retractable, slides and dumps)-
Exposure to Welding Lines Process & Layout (Spot Welding, ARC welding)-
Performs basic eng ineering calculations to verify design integrity-Create 2D manufacturing drawings and BOM-Knowledge of tolerances and materials -Read and understand GD&T drawings
Job Responsibilities-Designing of BIW welding fixtures-Concept Design, 3D finish, 2D Layout & detailing
-Quality check as per customer standards-Documentation as per customer standards-Technical reviews with customer-
Co-ordination with Offshore Team & supplier
