AR/VR Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AR/VR Engineer to lead the design and development of immersive experiences across AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) platforms.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality XR applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define architectures, optimize performance, and push the boundaries of whats possible in spatial computing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex AR/VR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine.

Build robust and scalable XR e xperiences across platforms such as Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, HoloLens, Magic Leap, HTC Vive, and mobile AR.

Optimize 3D rendering performance, memory usage, and interactivity for real-time environments.

Collaborate with 3D artists, designers, and UX researchers to deliver high-fidelity immersive interactions.

Integrate sensors, spatial tracking, gesture input, hand tracking, and real-world mapping using ARKit, AR Core, Open XR, or custom SDKs.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy, toolset evaluation, and prototyping of future-forward XR solutions.

Stay up to date with the latest AR/VR frameworks, hardware, and ecosystem developments.

Skills:

4+ years of experience building production-level AR or VR applications.

Advanced proficiency in Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (Blueprint/C++).

Deep understanding of real-time 3D graphics, shader programming, and ren dering pipelines.

Experience with AR SDKs (e.g., ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia), VR toolkits, and OpenXR standards.

Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.

Experience with spatial computing, SLAM, hand tracking, or computer vision is a strong plus.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (Git), and cross-platform build pipelines.
