Civil Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align timelines.
  
• Prepare and update baseline schedules, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules.
  
• Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and identify project risks.
  
• Monitor and track project progress and compare actual performance with the baseline.
  
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.
  
• Assist in cost loading and resource planning.
  
• Evaluate subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with project goals.
  
• Support claims and extension of time (EOT) processes with proper documentation.
  
• Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure project progress is achieved as planned.
  
• Conduct planning review meetings and ensure timely project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
  
• 10+ years of relevant planning experience in civil, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
  
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, and project reporting tools.
  
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management frameworks, and scheduling techniques.
