Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Lead to join our team
- As a UI Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and performant frontend architectures for web applications using React.js
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies, establish best practices, and ensure adherence to industry standards
- The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in React.js development, along with strong architectural skills and a proven track record of leading complex frontend projects
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React.js.
- Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex frontend solutions using React.js.
- In-depth understanding of React.js internals, virtual DOM, and component lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management solutions like Redux, Context API, or Recoil.
- Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and workflows (eg, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn)
- Experience in modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (Angular, JQuery, NodeJS)
- Strong knowledge in integrating systems for authentication, backend systems etc
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Expertise in CDN technologies and their integration with frontend applications.
- Strong understanding of caching strategies, debugging techniques, and performance optimization tools.
- Proficiency in implementing real-time communication using sockets.
- Experience building PWAs with service workers, manifest files, and responsive design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of frontend solutions using React.js and related technologies.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices for frontend development.
- Collaborate with product/project managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Architect modular and reusable components that promote code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Evaluate and recommend frontend libraries, frameworks, and tools to improve development efficiency and productivity.
- Establish guidelines for frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
- Mentor and coach frontend developers on React.js best practices, architectural patterns, and emerging technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in frontend development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on frontend architecture and implementation decisions.
- Utilize debugging and profiling tools to identify and troubleshoot performance issues in frontend applications.
- Conduct performance audits using Lighthouse and other performance testing tools to optimize page speed and user experience.
- Implement caching strategies to improve performance and reduce server load.
