Senior Video Editor

• Responsible for managing multiple video projects simultaneously. This includes understanding project requirements, establishing timelines and deadlines.

• Providing creative input and direction to ensure that the final video product meets the client s objectives and vision.

• Responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting and organising clips, trimming and arranging sequences, and applying effects, transitions, and colour grading.

• Managing Adobe project files and storing the files on Dropbox for accessibility

• Creating dynamic motion graphics in After Effects that meet the current industry standards

• Responsible for ensuring overall quality and consistency of the video content.Includes reviewing and refining edits based on feedback, checking for technical issues and ensuring that the videos meet the industry standard and client expectations.

• Staying updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software advancements in the field of video editing. Includes continuously enhancing their skills and exploring innovative approaches to deliver high-quality video.

Requirements

• Motion Graphics and 2D animations (Required)

• Colour Theory

• Familiarity with post-production practices, tools, and conventions such as file codecs and formats, as well as importing, exporting, and transcoding digital media

• Strong attention to detail and propensity to spot glitches and irregularities

• Strong English-language written and verbal skills are required
