Raw Material Executive

The Raw Material Executive is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of raw materials used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role involves sourcing approved suppliers, ensuring timely availability of materials, maintaining regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal departments to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate approved suppliers for pharmaceutical-grade raw materials as per regulatory and quality standards.
  
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  
• Prepare and release purchase orders and track order status until delivery.
  
• Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, testing, and approval of received raw materials.
  
• Ensure all materials comply with cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and internal specifications.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and generate procurement plans to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  
• Maintain updated records of purchases, vendor certificates, COAs, MSDS, and other required documentation.
  
• Manage non-conformance issues, including rejection or replacement of materials.
  
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and stock positions.
  
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit compliance.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term collaboration.
