Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in the field of Computer Science and IT related areas, with expertise in DevOps, Cloud Computing, Big Data, AI/ML, Cyber Security, and other relevant areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and excellent teaching skills. This position is located at UPES.

Roles and Responsibility

Teach and mentor students in various computer science courses.
Develop and implement curriculum for new courses and programs.
Conduct research and publish papers in reputable journals and conferences.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new technologies and systems.
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to improve their understanding.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Experience with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure.
Proficiency in big data processing and analysis using tools like Hadoop and Spark.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in computer science and IT.
Educational qualifications: B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech, Ph.D.
