Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with our leadership to develop and implement the ESG roadmap, conducting materiality assessments to align with our strategic vision.

- Project Management: Lead select ESG initiatives with a focus on environmental topics, coordinating cross-functional projects to achieve sustainability objectives.

- Liaison Role with International Experience: Serve as the principal liaison for ESG matters, providing hands-on support to achieve ESG targets and facilitating seamless internal communication.

- Reporting & Disclosure: Partner with business units and key stakeholders to define and enhance the ESG reporting and disclosure agenda, ensuring transparency and accountability.

- Data Management: Oversee the annual ESG data collection process, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data gathering across functions.

- Report Preparation: Assist in preparing the annual ESG report, including data analysis, content development, and compliance with industry standards.

- Best Practices Implementation: Review company documents and external publications to assess and implement best practices applicable to our organization.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage responses to inquiries from external stakeholders, maintaining open and proactive communication channels.

- Research & Trends: Conduct ESG research and keep abreast of industry trends to ensure our strategy remains current and impactful.

- Cultural Development: Promote a positive ESG culture within the organization, aligning ESG strategies with business goals and inspiring a shared commitment to sustainability.

- Innovation: Proactively explore innovative ideas from both within and outside the business, identifying cutting-edge solutions to sustainability challenges.

Key Requirements:

- Master's degree in civil engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.

- 10-12 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.

- Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, ratings, and disclosure norms, with knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.

- Expertise in international regulations and compliance standards related to ESG, including familiarity with global frameworks such as the UN Global Compact, GRI, CDP & IFC Standards.

- Familiarity with science-based targets (SBTi), scenario analysis for climate change risk modeling, and impact assessments.

- Strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and driving results in complex situations.

- Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

- Effective communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, able to influence and inspire others toward shared ESG goals.

Additional Requirements:

- Industry Experience: Experience in the civil construction/real estate sector or consulting industry preferred.

- Technological Familiarity: Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, water management, waste management, and current market trends.

- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively both domestically and internationally for project development, stakeholder engagement, and industry events.
