Gis Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Ability to interpret satellite imagery, DEMs, and LULC datasets
• Interpretation of satellite imageries and preparation of a base map for large regions
• Collaborate with ground survey teams to integrate data into GIS databases
• Create orthomosaic maps, 3D models, DEM, DSM, DTM, Contours
• Prepare detailed GIS-based maps, layouts, and drawings using ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other GIS tools
• Digitize, edit, maintain spatial datasets (land use, topography, utility networks)
• Perform spatial analysis, georeferencing, and data conversion from various formats
• Ensure accuracy & consistency of spatial data by validating and updating GIS layers
• Support urban planning and regional development projects with thematic mapping and data visualization
• Generate reports, presentations, and documentation related to GIS outputs
• Rubber sheet Cadastral Maps

Preferred candidate profile

•Degree - Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Geography, Urban Planning related field

•Minimum 3 years of experience

•Must have proven experience of working in 1 large GIS based regional plans and 1 GIS based urban development project
