CyberVault Consultant - Backup & Recovery Operations (8-12 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced CyberVault Consultant to oversee and enhance our backup and recovery operations across AWS and Azure platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud-native backup solutions, demonstrate proficiency in recovery testing within isolated environments, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data resilience and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee CyberVault-specific backups in AWS and Azure, ensuring successful completion and adherence to defined policies.

- Utilize native tools such as AWS Backup and Azure Backup Vault for monitoring and management.

- Implement and enforce backup policies using Azure Policy and AWS Backup Audit Manager.

- Work closely with Legal & General (L&G) Cloud Business-As-Usual (BAU) teams to address and resolve backup failures.

- Ensure compliance with backup SLAs and maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions.

- Conduct monthly recovery tests from CyberVault backups within isolated environments to validate data integrity and recovery procedures.

- Perform broader recovery testing, including on-premise solutions, to ensure comprehensive disaster recovery readiness.

- Generate regular management reports on backup performance, recovery test results, and compliance metrics.

- Maintain thorough documentation using tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Python to automate backup and recovery processes.

- Ensure scripts and configurations are version-controlled and documented.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum of 8 years in IT infrastructure, with a focus on backup and recovery operations.

- Proven experience with native backup solutions in AWS (e.g, AWS Backup) and Azure (e.g, Azure Backup Vault).

- Familiarity with backup software such as Rubrik, Dell Networker, CyberSense, and NetApp storage solutions.

- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automation tasks.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.

- Experience with Legal & General (L&G) implementations or similar enterprise environments.

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or relevant backup solutions.

- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to data backup and recovery
