Job Description

Position: Assistant Manager - Digital Marketing (E-commerce)

Location: India

Experience: 3 - 5 years

Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Advertising Strategy & Planning:

- Serve as the single point of contact for all digital marketing activities related to select e-commerce platforms for all brands.

- Develop and execute comprehensive advertising plans on these platforms, selecting appropriate advertising properties based on data insights and defined campaign objectives (e.g., awareness, acquisition).

- Conduct deep dives into and evaluate keyword strategies for all brands, defining relevant


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success:

- Will be directly responsible for managing e-commerce advertising budgets, developing yearly calendars, outlining campaign strategies, defining tactics, planning for peak sales days, and establishing clear action plans and timelines.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:

- Oversee the implementation and day-to-day management of digital advertising campaigns across assigned e-commerce platforms.

- Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performances, identifying opportunities for optimization to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) from ad spends.

- Track and provide regular internal reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Sales Impact:

- Work closely with the Digital Sales Team to align marketing strategies with stock availability and target ROI, ensuring informed and effective marketing decisions.

- Coordinate with the in-country Brand Team to gather inputs on brand focuses, ensure brand consistency, and obtain creative approvals for campaigns.

- Will be directly or indirectly responsible for driving sales through the aligned e-commerce partners.

Innovation & Market Trends:

- Continuously review new technologies, advertising formats, and platform features within the e-commerce landscape.

- Proactively recommend and implement new strategies and tactics to keep the company at the forefront of developments in e-commerce advertising and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, other marketplace advertising).

- Proven track record of managing advertising budgets and maximizing ROI from ad spends.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate keyword strategies, define KPIs, and derive actionable insights from campaign performance.

- Experience with planning and executing digital advertising campaigns for awareness and acquisition objectives.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, Brand, etc.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce advertising and digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience managing advertising for multiple brands simultaneously.

- Certifications in relevant digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, specific e-commerce platform certifications).
